Apologies for the seemingly never-ending updates, but the evolving COVID situation and subsequent recommendations and requests from various health and sports organizations have had us pivoting more than once in the past few days.<\/p>\n
The latest update encompasses all of our divisions.<\/p>\n
On the urging of Hockey Lac St-Louis and the recommendations of Sant\u00e9 Montr\u00e9al and other health organizations, Hockey West Island has made the difficult decision to pause all of its activities (on and off ice) until January 9, 2022 inclusive. In addition to games that have already been postponed, team practices, off-ice team training, and exhibition matches are paused until January 10th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n This pause takes effect as of this evening, December 23, at 10 p.m. We will keep you posted as to the exact date of our resumption of activities.<\/p>\n This decision is in order to reduce social contacts and keep our players, coaches, and arena staff safe, and allow the resumption of our activities in January 2022.<\/p>\n Thank you for your understanding as we are constantly evolving according to government standards and public health recommendations. __________________________________<\/p>\n Nos excuses pour les mises \u00e0 jour apparemment sans fin, mais l’\u00e9volution de la situation COVID et les recommandations et demandes de diverses organisations de sant\u00e9 et de sport nous ont fait pivoter plus d’une fois au cours des derniers jours.<\/p>\n La derni\u00e8re mise \u00e0 jour concerne toutes nos divisions.<\/p>\n \u00c0 l’insistance de Hockey Lac St-Louis et des recommandations de Sant\u00e9 Montr\u00e9al et d’autres organismes de sant\u00e9, Hockey West Island a pris la difficile d\u00e9cision de suspendre toutes ses activit\u00e9s (sur glace et hors glace) jusqu’au 9 janvier 2022 inclusivement. En plus des matchs qui ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 report\u00e9s, les entra\u00eenements d’\u00e9quipe, l’entra\u00eenement d’\u00e9quipe hors glace, et les matchs d’exhibition sont suspendus jusqu’au 10 janvier.<\/p>\n Cette pause prend effet imm\u00e9diatement, donc d\u00e8s ce soir 23 d\u00e9cembre \u00e0 22h.
