Welcome Our New Ice Scheduler – Cory Piché!
Hockey West Island is pleased to announce that Cory Piché has been hired as our new Ice Scheduler.
Cory brings a wealth of hockey experience as a player, coach, and on-ice official. As a member of the HWI community, he has coached at multiple levels and is currently serving as assistant coach for the U11 BB Grizzlies while helping on the ice with our U7 group.
As an official, Cory has worked across Canada and the U.S. in professional and junior leagues including the AHL, CHL, OHL, ECHL, and OUA. His career highlights include officiating at the 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup, World Junior Championship pre-tournament games, All-Star Games, and various international tournaments, showcasing his skills on some of the biggest stages in the sport.
Beyond the rink, Cory’s leadership experience in sales and team management will be a great asset in coordinating our busy ice schedules.
