Hockey sur Mesure is a new 7-week spring program designed for beginner and new-to-hockey players who want a relaxed, low-pressure environment to learn and play.

Running Saturdays from April 11 to May 23, 2026 (3:30–4:30 PM), this program focuses on skill development, confidence, and fun. Cost is $149 for all 7 sessions.

All participants must wear full hockey equipment to be eligible to participate. See the link at the bottom of the page for the full list. Second-hand, or beginner quality gear is perfectly acceptable. (No goalie-specific equipment is needed.) Local sports stores include Play It Again Sports, Sports Rousseau, Monkey Sports, and Sports Experts. 

Participants must be able propel themselves forward, and get up from the ice unassisted. Parents are not on the ice for this program. 

Please note this program is not available to players who participated with Hockey West Island during the 2025–2026 season.

A minimum number of participants is required. If the program does not run, all registrants will receive a full refund.
